Birthing classes, baby furniture, and grandparents!

I am so excited because I just registered Rhett and myself for a whole bunch of fun baby classes at Sacred Heart!! I was really only wanting to take the Child Birthing/Lamas classes (which take place every Tuesday for 6 weeks), but the lady I spoke to at the Nesting Place (at Sacred Heart..how cute..) said that they offer classes in a "bundle" and that I should take all three: Child Birthing/Lamas (we have to bring 2 pillows, oh how fun!), Newborn Parenting (where they teach you how to take care of a newborn and what to do when they're sick), and Breastfeeding (which I'm going to do, but didn't think I needed a class on it...but hey, any info is good info). All these classes take place in January and I just can't wait!! So much exciting stuff is happening and it just makes me realize how very soon March is going to get here! Rhett and I have pretty much decided on a crib/baby furniture and all we have to do is order it! I seriously can not wait for that to get here! I bet Rhett can't wait to put it all together too! He he he =) Let's see what else...all the grandparent's (Rhett's parents, my mom and Charlie, and my dad and Tammra) have been discussing what they want their "grandparent" names to be, basically what they want little Lyla to call them. My dad and Tammra already have a grandchild (Tammra's son's son) so they already go by Oma and Opa. My mom is so cute because she told me that she's been asking the kids in her class what they call their grandparents! She's just so excited!! She said that she either wants to be Mimi or GG (Greatest Grandma! SO CUTE)! and Charlie can be Gpa or something like that. And Rhett's parent's, well they haven't decided yet, but it's so fun to talk about this stuff! Anywho, I haven't really slacked off on my eating because well, I think I'm doing just fine! I read in my What to Expect When You're Expecting book and it said that it was normal to gain 2 lbs per week in your second and third trimester. And if that's the case, then I'm right on schedule. I mean good Lord! Lyla's got to have some room to move around and grow in my belly! However, I think I will try to be a little more cautious of how much I eat. Maybe. That's all for now!

Here's a picture of the ladybug bedding and accessories that we're planning on doing for Lyla's nursery!!

This is all so exciting, I think it sounds like so much fun to take all this "bundle" of classes! You will be a pro at the end of it all! Oh also "Ouma and Oupa" are Afrikaans names for Grandma and Grandpa! You will have little Afrikaans speaking babies like me! ha! I really miss you my heart. I cant wait to come home and squeeze on you and see all this cute nursery stuff in person! I really love the ladybug theme!!!

I can't believe I will be with you tomorrow! I haven't seen you with a really big bump yet in person, and I can't wait! I hope I get to feel her kick! I love you, and I love that baby inside your tummy! Oh, and tell Aubbie I love her SO MUCH, too!
